East Kentwood girls tennis team tops Byron Center 7-1

East Kentwood’s Sydney Hodge won her No. 1 singles match against Aspen Comar 6-1, 6-1. East Kentwood swept the singles matches. Byron Center’s Anna Cook and Lauren Vincent won their No. 1 doubles match against Angelica Hough and Abigail Plummer 6-1, 6-4. courtsey of MLive

East Kentwood girls tennis team ties Grand Haven 4-4 on Thursday

East Kentwood’s Sydney Hodge defeated Erin Stall 6-0, 6-0 in 1 singles. East Kentwood’s Katie Giarmo edged Nikke Birkett 6-4, 6-2 in 4 singles. Grand Haven’s Olivia Reed and Maggie Ginocchio defeated Chow Nguyen and Erica Lee 6-0, 2-6, 6-0 in 3 doubles. courtesy of MLive.

East Kentwood defeats competition at Caledonia girls tennis invitational

The East Kentwood girls tennis team narrowly won the Caledonia girls tennis invitational with a total of 17 points. Andrea Matei, Macey Hodge, and Katie Giarmo were champions at the second, third, and fourth-place singles slots. All three had 3-0 records.
